1. Overview
Writage is distributed as digital content. The installer is available for download from our website at any time; your licence key is provided immediately after purchase. All payments are processed by our authorised Merchants of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd and Bright Market, LLC d/b/a FastSpring (collectively, "MoR"). This Policy explains when you are entitled to a refund and how to request one.
2. Statutory cancellation right (UK & EU/EEA consumers)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you may cancel a digital‑content purchase within 14 days of the transaction unless you request and receive the digital content immediately and acknowledge that doing so waives the right to cancel.
By completing your order you expressly request immediate supply of your licence key and confirm that this instruction causes your 14‑day withdrawal right to end once the key is displayed or e‑mailed to you.
3. When refunds are not available
You will not be entitled to a refund if:
- you started the download or activated a Writage licence after giving the consent described in section 2; or
- the 14‑day period has expired and no consumer‑protection law in your jurisdiction requires a refund.
4. Discretionary refunds after 14 days
If you experience a technical problem that we cannot resolve, we may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund within 30 days of purchase, even after licence activation. Please give us a reasonable chance to troubleshoot first.
5. How to request a refund
Locate your order – have your Paddle or FastSpring order number and purchase e‑mail address ready.
Submit the request:
- Paddle orders: visit https://paddle.net.
- FastSpring orders: visit https://fastspring.com/consumer-support/.
- You may also e‑mail us at support@writage.com with the subject "Refund Request".
Approved refunds are usually credited to the original payment method within 5–10 business days (timing depends on your bank or card issuer).
